I have an ASUS EAH3850 which kept giving me this error. Once quick workaround is to reduce the Clock rate to roughly 20Mhz.

I installed Smart Doctor, and used it to reduce the clock rate.

CoD - Modern Warfare 2

Before:  851Mhz
Random crashes every few mins

After: 828Mhz
Result: No crashes!Hope this helps someone.
